Seller Agreement

Last updated September 2026

Your obligations when you list, sell, and ship items on GettinPlace817.

Electronic agreement

You must accept this Seller Agreement electronically before you can publish a listing. Clicking to agree has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and we record the date, time, and account that agreed.

Your listings

You confirm you own each item or are authorised to sell it, that it is described honestly, that photos show the actual item, and that the category, condition, and condition grade are accurate.

Designer and luxury listings must include the brand, a serial or date code field where the item carries one, a condition grade, and authentication documentation. Receipt, dust bag, and original box fields must reflect what is actually included.

Honouring sales

Every completed sale, auction win, accepted offer, or Buy Now purchase is a binding contract. You must ship or make the item available for local pickup within your stated handling time, using the fulfilment method the buyer chose.

Enter the carrier and tracking number for every shipped order. Cancelling completed sales, refusing to ship, or listing items you do not have may result in loss of selling privileges.

Fees, payouts, and taxes

GettinPlace charges a 10% commission on completed sales, deducted before payout. Payouts run weekly to your connected payment account. We may freeze a payout while we investigate a dispute, chargeback, or authenticity report.

You are responsible for your own income taxes and for collecting any sales tax you are legally required to collect.

Authenticity and counterfeits

Selling counterfeit or replica goods is grounds for immediate removal of the listing, forfeiture of the sale, a permanent selling ban, and referral to rights holders or authorities.

Only GettinPlace staff may grant the gold “Authenticity Verified” badge. Claiming verification you have not received is a serious violation.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or ban a seller account for policy violations, excessive disputes, chargeback abuse, or fraud. You may stop selling at any time, but you must complete every open order first.
