What personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information (name, email, password hash), profile details you choose to add, shipping addresses, listing content and photos, bids, orders, messages, reviews, support requests, and payment records held by our payment provider.
We also collect technical information automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, searches, and referring links.
How we use it
To run your account, show listings, process bids and orders, arrange shipping, calculate fees and payouts, send transactional notifications, prevent fraud and counterfeit sales, provide support, and improve the marketplace.
Photos you submit to the AI Listing Assistant are sent to our AI provider solely to generate the suggested title, category, condition, and pricing for your listing.
How we share it
With the other party to a transaction (a seller receives the shipping address they must ship to), with service providers who process payments, host the platform, send email, or provide AI analysis, and with authorities when legally required.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and security
We keep transaction and tax records as long as required by law, and other data for as long as your account is open. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security to protect your information.
No system is perfectly secure; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Your choices
You can view and edit your profile, addresses, and listings at any time, unsubscribe from marketing email, and request a copy or deletion of your personal information. Some records must be retained to comply with tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
