Dispute Resolution Policy

Last updated September 2026

The steps we follow to resolve buyer and seller disputes.

Step 1 — talk to each other

Most problems are solved in messages. Buyers and sellers should try to resolve the issue between themselves within 3 days before escalating.

Step 2 — open a case

Open a dispute from the order in your dashboard. Include photos, tracking, and a clear description. Both parties can add evidence, and a payout may be held while the case is open.

Step 3 — our decision

Our team reviews the listing, messages, tracking, and evidence and usually decides within 5 business days. Outcomes include full refund, partial refund, return for refund, or the claim being closed in the seller's favour.

Our decision is final for platform-managed remedies such as refunds, payout release, and badge changes.

Step 4 — outside the platform

If a dispute cannot be resolved here, you and GettinPlace agree to first attempt informal resolution for 30 days, then to binding individual arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, under Texas law. Class actions are waived. Small-claims court remains available.
